Who is your community?

What is the container that supports you and your practice?

Co-Creating
Healing & Wholeness

Are you surrounded by colleagues who support you and your practice?

Is anyone spending the time to create a sacred space for you the way you create one for your clients?

Imagine how your life and your practice would change if you felt held and supported by a community.

WHY THE CARE COLLECTIVE™?

The Care Collective (TCC) was established as a ‘Benefit Corporation’ in 2019 out of a need in the St. Louis metro area for therapists to have a space and a community to work, learn, develop, and expand their practices.

Many for-profit therapy practices are owned and operated by sole proprietors who have not received sufficient business development training. Additionally, quality therapists experience high rates of burnout, isolation, compassion fatigue and unnecessarily low salaries.

TCC is stepping into fill this gap by providing a new community practice concept to address the unmet needs of therapists and their clients.

TCC also arose from a growing concern that psychotherapy and private practice development are becoming overly commercialized. TCC is rooted in the beliefs that there is a fundamental difference between treatment and healing and that lasting change and growth happens when highly skilled therapists collaborate, cross-train and consult with one another.

WHERE IS
THE CARE COLLECTIVE?

Located in the heart of Clayton, The Equity Building at 7711 Bonhomme Avenue is a modern building with recently renovated common areas and is the new home for TCC.

Offering numerous amenities including a fitness center, covered parking, and intentionally designed interior spaces, TCC provides a welcoming work environment for the TCC circle of therapists, an inviting atmosphere for clients, and an inclusive community space for group events.

WHO MAKES UP
THE COLLECTIVE?

Open minded, wholehearted and courageous therapists who want to be part of an intentional trailblazing community.

TCC is for therapists with established practices, new practices or those with private practice aspirations who are committed to collaborating with other therapists to offer comprehensive and coordinated care to multiple members of the same family, household or group.

WHAT IS THE
CARE COLLECTIVE?

TCC is a place for you to flourish and develop a fulfilling practice that will grow with you over time.

The best way to build a thriving practice is to be a good therapist. The best way to be a good therapist is to surround yourself with other good therapists who support, challenge and encourage you to grow. And by committing to ongoing education, training and personal development beyond that which is required for licensure.

A Community Building & Practice Development Opportunity for
Therapists in the St. Louis Metro Area

“I think of the pain that most people first come into therapy with as the hot coffee I put in my mug — without the container I would get burned and the point of the coffee would be lost. The container makes it drinkable. I shape the experience of my coffee — what I add to it, how hot it is and how much I drink a day. Holding my mug is a way I sometimes remind myself that I am someone’s container.”
